SEN DRAMA TEACHER

Description:  
We are looking for a dynamic, flexible and enthusiastic drama teacher or specialist to join our team of creative teachers to teach up to GCSE level including LAMDA and Bronze, Silver and Gold Arts Awards.  You will be committed to providing the best opportunities for our group of learners and ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential. You may be a qualified drama teacher who has experience in SEN or may come from a different drama background with experience of teaching and working with a range of young people. A flexible approach to teaching, a willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life, and the ability to work under pressure with young people that can challenge us is essential to enable the best outcomes for our group of learners. You will have at least 2 years experience of working with learners with autism in any setting.

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Location: Bredon School, Gloucestershire
Contract: Permanent. Full time over 52 weeks.
Working Hours and Days: 7.30am to 5.00pm, plus lock-up. Lock-up will be five days out of seven on a rota basis. Out of hours and weekends on call.
Accommodation: Accommodation will be available from the beginning of Summer Term 2019.

Description: As Maintenance Supervisor at Bredon School, you’ll make sure the buildings and grounds are in first-class condition. Every day, you’ll be undertaking repairs, from fixing windows and touching up or renewing paint work with a friendly team and to take pride in creating attractive surroundings where our young people will thrive. You’ll be responsible for locking up the property. Your previous maintenance experience, or strong background in DIY, will mean you’re a fantastic all-rounder, who loves rolling up their sleeves and getting stuck in. A relevant trade skill (e.g. carpentry, plumbing and plastering & decorating) and knowledge of health and safety do’s and don’ts would be an advantage, but are not essential. What’s more important to us is your attitude, expertise and your naturally helpful approach. You’ll also be a great team worker who can support and guide other employees when they’re looking for your help. The role comes with the benefit of a residential property within the grounds of the school.

SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR  – ADMISSIONS & MARKETING (maternity cover)
Location: Abingdon House School, Marylebone
Contract: Maternity Cover. Full Time.
Start date: Mid-February
Description: We are seeking to recruit a highly organised Senior Administrator – Admissions and Marketing to provide maternity cover for a minimum of one year. The ideal candidate will be energetic and self-motivated and will have excellent organisational and administrative skills. He or she will be characterised by a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and create an exceptional first impression. You may have experience of working with children with special needs already, or be willing to undertake training. The Senior Administration Team is part of the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for the administration of the School as well as the duties of their particular role. The specific role includes all aspects of the admissions process including delivering tours of the School, providing and requesting relevant information and participating in admission decisions. Additionally this role manages all internal and external communication as well as planning open days, putting together the weekly newsletter and other marketing initiatives in order to showcase the School.
