Introducing… Cavendish Presents

'Cavendish Presents' is the name given to a brand new series of talks, workshops and Q&A Panels hosted by Cavendish for professionals, parents and staff.

‘Cavendish Presents’ talks, workshops and Q&A Panels will be held to support our families and the wider community to gain a greater understanding of various topics associated with specialist education and unique learning profiles.

The first event, to be held on March 14th, will take place in Hammersmith between 6-8pm and is presented by Fin O’Regan, one of the leading behaviour and learning specialists in the UK.

The M Factor: Supporting our attention different children. Fin will explore the concept and issues behind Mood Management and the key principles of Motivation in order to support students, teachers and parents to achieve successful learning, behaviour and socialisation outcomes.

About Fin O’Regan MA, PGCE BSc
Fin is a Behaviour and Learning Consultant and Trainer for a number of educational organisations both nationally and internationally.

He was the Head teacher of the Centre Academy from 1996 -2002, which was the first independent international specialist school in the UK for students between the ages of 7-19 specialising issues related to ADHD, ASD and ODD.

Fin is an associate lecturer for Leicester University, the National Association of Special Needs, the Institute of Education, the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre, Vice Chairman of the UK ADHD Network and a board member of the European ADHD Alliance. He has written a number of books and published articles on the subject of ADHD, Behaviour and Learning issues.


The second event is being held on Wednesday 9th May, 6-8pm, also in Hammersmith.

The Big Picture: rethinking dyslexia.  Film screening and a Q&A panel.
This film provides personal and uplifting accounts of the
dyslexic experience from children, experts and iconic leaders,
such as Sir Richard Branson and financier Charles Schwab.
Directed by James Redford, the film not only addresses
misconceptions about dyslexia, but paints a picture of hope for
all who struggle with it.

Donal Quinn – Dyslexia Specialist in Literacy.
Charlie Pinel – Dyslexia Specialist in Maths.
Adele Monsef – Cognitive Assessment Specialist.
